Samuel G. Carneal, born Somerset, Kentucky, February 9, 1972, joined Gess Mattingly & Atchison as an Associate in 1997. His principal areas of practice are Real Estate, Corporate Law and Health Care Law.

Mr. Carneal’s real estate practice is primarily focused on commercial and farm real estate transactions, with a lesser focus on residential real estate. Mr. Carneal is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. Mr. Carneal is adept at lease negotiation and drafting, as well as all stages of real estate transactions, from drafting the sales/purchase contract, reviewing the surveys and plats, and writing the title insurance policy, to closing the loan.

Mr. Carneal’s corporate law practice encompasses all aspects of corporate entity formation, including limited liability companies and “s” corporations. Included in his corporate law practice is the negotiation and drafting of necessary agreements, state filings, and general negotiations.

Mr. Carneal’s health care law practice is primarily focused on practice group formation and operation and Administrative Law/Certificate of Need.
